David leads regular heritage tours of the London Underground,visiting the modernist and art deco icons of the Piccadilly line, and the contemporary design of the Jubilee line. David is the author of two key books on the design of the London Underground station. Underground Architecture (ISBN 1854141600) was published in 1994, and is now out of print, although there may be a few copies from abebooks.co.uk. Bright Underground Spaces was published in 2008, and is available from the publisher Capital Transport or your local book supplier, quoting ISBN number 1854143204. David recently lectured on the work of tube station architect Charles Holden at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
